Whip Cream - Homemade

Whipped cream is a mixture of heavy cream and sugar whipped in a mixer (or by hand) until it’s soft, billowy, and doubled in volume.

  • 1 cup heavy cream (dairy or coconut cream)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or one half vanilla bean scraped and speckled in
  • 1 tablespoon confectioners sugar


1. In large bowl whip cream untill stiff peaks are just to form (using your kitchen aid mixer is ideal, but a hand mixer is great as well.)

2. Add in vanilla and sugar and mix until peaks form. Make sure not to over whip cream as it will then become lumpy and butter like.

3. Dish out on your pie, fruit, or cake and enjoy.
